Magnesium Metal Reduction Retort Production Line

Our retort centrifugal casting line produces Pidgeon Process magnesium or calcium metal reduction retorts and recycles the old used retorts. We produce both vertical and horizontal retort to reduce the magnesium or calcium metal by Pidgeon process technology. The retort is produced by our hot mold horizontal Centrifugal Casting Machine classified to diameters range from 300mm to 800mm with lengths range from 3,000mm to 3,500mm. The retort’s chemical compositions are C: 0.2-0.25，Cr: 27-29, Ni: 9-11, Si: 1.5-2, Mn: 1-1.5, S: ≦0.035, P: ≦0.035, N: ≦0.3. With advanced technology and Know-How, our retort’s life span can reach to 120 days under reaction temperature between 1200 and 1260 centigrade.

The retort centrifugal casting machines range from simple manually operated equipment to fully automated systems utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLC) with functions of automatic pouring, automatic mold coating, automatic mold brushing and automatic extraction.
